Aulis Harmaala is a visual artist. His multidiscipline work involves several different ways to catch and handle material. The present works are installations in which sculptures, paintings, photographs, ready-made artifacts, and participatory elements form the core. The themes are related to human interaction: emotions, personal relations, autobiographical events. In many works, the means of expression diverge directly into instruments of communication. Aulis Harmaala is born 1966, and he lives in Helsinki, Finland.
